Frequently Asked Questions

Check out some of our most frequently asked questions about cabinets below. If you don’t see the question and/or answer you need, please contact us or call us at 808-873-8800.

Do you have cabinets in-stock?

Yes. We offer one color and one style in-stock. You can view it here. We stock a 30″ upper cabinet height made to work with most ceiling heights, a mid-tone neutral color to work with different color palettes, and a shaker style that can have a modern look or a more traditional look by adding crown and special hardware.

Are your cabinets all wood?

All of our products are all wood, with the exception of three styles which we explain below. Our face frames, doors, & drawer boxes are solid wood and the carcass boxes & shelving are furniture grade 5/8″ plywood.

The three exceptions are: 1.) Painted Cabinets which have an MDF center panel (industry standard) for quality purpose, 2.) Slab doors which have an MDF core with 3/16″ solid wood surrounding the entire outside (industry standard to avoid warping), and 3.) Our full MDF Door Style Line which is a specific door line chosen by clients wanting a full MDF door.

We DO NOT have any particle board in any of our products.

What makes your product different?

Our product brings you the best price for the best quality when comparing apples-to-apples in quality.

Unlike other in-stock cabinet products on the market, Our product is NOT an RTA (Ready to Assemble) or Knock Down cabinet, which comes flat in a box, requires assembly, and is usually assembled with cam locks or clips to hold the cabinet together.

Our cabinets are FACTORY BUILT to last and are built using screws, pin nails, glue, and wood corner supports for a solid construction and lasting durability. When you receive our cabinets, they are fully built in the box, straight from the factory.

What is your turn around time for a quote?

1-3 days is our turn-around time for cabinet quotes, depending on the size of your space & the complexity of the design. We may even be able to do the quote in the same day if it is simple.

How do I get a quote?

To give you a quote, we need dimensions. You can:

1.) Download our How to Measure Guide and take the measurements yourself

2.) Have your contractor measure or

3.) Contact Us if you are interested in a bid for our sister company, MF Construction, to complete your project.

Then you can send us the dimensions to work up a quote or we can set up an appointment to do the design together.

Do you offer a site measure service?

If you are interested in having our sister company MF Construction complete your project, we do offer a site measure for $100 + tax. This is a non-refundable fee; however, we will credit this fee toward your purchase of cabinets. You can call us at 808-873-8800 or Contact Us to start this process.

If you have our sister company measure and you choose another contractor, we do not assume responsbility for our dimensions. The contractor you choose will need to confirm dimensions or provide new ones. This will confirm that the contractor who performs the work for your project knows what is being ordered and the dimensions of the space the cabinets are ordered for, which is based on the work they are performing.

Plese call us if you have any questions about this process. We are here to help and want your project to go smoothly 🙂

What's the difference between Quartz & Granite?

Both are great options. It just depends on what you like. Granite is natural stone and certain colors have a lot of variance.  It is pourous and requires maintenance; you will need to seal it periodically with a granite sealer. Additionally, extra care to wipe up oil or other things that may absorb in to the granite is reccommended to avoid absorption in to the stone. Quartz is a man-made product made from crushed natural quartz and epoxy. It has a more uniform look and is a solid surface. It is non-pourous and does not require sealer. Extra care to wipe up heavily pigmented items that may stain lighter color quartz is reccommended.

Do you offer Delivery?

Yes, we offer curbside delivery for our cabinets only starting at $100+.

We are unable to bring your cabinets down any hallways, up any stairs, or inside your home/condo for insurace/liability reasons.

We are unable to deliver past Huelo or past Ulupalakua; areas between Waihee & Kapalua are subject to approval. Feel free to call us and ask if you have any questions.

Do your cabinets go all the way up to the ceiling?

It depends. Our instock product is a 30″ wall cabinet that is meant to hang at 84″. If your ceiling height is 84″, yes, they will go up to the ceiling. If your ceiling height is higher, than you will have a space. You can leave it open, use crown, or other options. We can talk with you about your options.

Cabinet Care: How do I clean my cabinets?
Our manufacturer recommends using a Wood Oil Soap only, as directed on the bottle. The brand we recommend is Murphy’s Wood Oil Soap. You can buy this at Target, Lowes, and Home Depot.
Suggested Instructions in addition to what is stated on the product’s bottle: Dilute the wood oil soap in a clean bucket/tub of warm water, as directed on the bottle; you don’t need much. It is better to use less than more. Use a clean/new microfiber cloth that you will use specifically for your cabinets, as you do not want to use a used cloth that may have any particulate on it that could scratch the finish. Submerge the cloth in the water/soap mixture. Wring it out very well and then wipe the cabinets; the cloth should not be sopping wet, but just damp when wiping down the cabinets. Then quickly follow with a dry, clean/new microfiber cloth to dry the cabinets.
